First and most importantly… University.

I’ve received an email from Lonpac regarding my study insurance. I guess that means I have successfully gotten into UOL though I have not gotten the official confirmation letter. Which also means that I have to work doubly hard for the next few years. To be able to juggle with a full-time job, a part-time job and a part-time bachelor course is going to be really taxing.

It was a tough decision on which course to further. Even till now, I have no idea what to expect for the course I’ve chosen. Like what’s the difference between Banking, Economics, Finance, etc?! What I have been studying these years are more like mole, cells, immunology, genetics, etc. See the difference? I even wiki-ed for information on Banking and Finance. >_<

Work.

I’m quite convinced that I made the right decision to continue my contract. After all, my job scope does not require me to OT till late. This means that I will be able to rush to school when it commences. But what worries me is the future plans my manager has for me. What she expects of me is very HR-based, that makes leaving the company in the future harder.

But I’m satisfied with what I’m doing now. I’m no longer daydreaming and pretending to act busy at work. There simply isn’t time for it. I’m enjoying the rush of work even though it can be quite headachy at times. In addition, I get to do planning now. Hurray for no longer being a sheep – no more just following to instructions.

Japanese.

For those who have not heard the news. I FAILED JLPT 2 again. For the second time, I scored the in-betweens. If its based on 50% passing mark, I would have passed. WTH! My results were pulled down by my listening. My listening results is really 看不下去. So I guess I have to retake JLPT 2 again this year.

Skin issues.

Ta-daa. Now I see the results for not taking good care of my skin. For someone who never had more than 2 insolated pimples, its actually quite devastating to experience acne problem at this age. Vichy was probably the trigger. Clinque made my face itch. Antibiotic didn’t help. Amway made the condition worse. Mentholatum works well but too slowly and it’s a little too dry. Therefore, the need for desperate measure – dermatologist. I’m extremely broke after signing for their treatment. Abit sad in a way but no regrets. At least I’m seeing results. The clogged pores are developing into pimples which drop out within a week. Yea.. the pimples are dropping out with the root attached and everything. Sounds gross but its actually quite exhilarating to see the pimples coming out, indicating that my acne is finally clearing. Woah!

Right, the treatment is EXPENSIVE though not as expensive as my previous ‘investment’. But for someone who doesn’t receive ‘financial allowance’ from parents (Mo! Sounds familiar? XPPP)…. Anyway, I seriously need to save up!

Travel.

Dabian and I are going to Hong Kong in May! Excited and a little nervous. The first free and easy trip for the both of us. I hope English and Chinese suffice. The only Cantonese words I know is ‘吃饱没’ and ‘吃饭’. All thanks to fat bro who kept repeating it during our Beijing trip.

I foresee a lot of shopping. Save save save money! Going to revamp my wardrobe! O.O Seriously hopes the dust storm clears by then.
