feel the love

Was shocked to find this EMS waiting for me when I got home. Total shockness! Because CD Japan only emailed me on the delivery this evening.

This neatly wrapped up parcel was delivered within a couple of hours upon receiving the email notification from CDJapan. 果然是飞来的! My first overseas online purchase. An expensive yet sastisfying purchase. After all, I'm receiving the CD 2 days before the actual release date in Japan.

There... tegomass willing me to rip that bubble wrap off them. They are shouting 'get me out of the bubble wrap, my queen!'. lols...*self high-ness*

Tegomass no ai! *loves* I'm so going to rip the DVD and sync it into my itouchie. Tego and massu are just toooooo adorable and yummilicious. =X

Tegomass really love me too much. Sending in the album 2 days before the actual release... blissed!! Loves loves loves!

kuwabara's farewell

I guess this is the most complete division photo with Kuwabara-san. Its a pity that half of the division did not stay for the farewell dinner.

Its quite sad that Kuwabara-san is leaving for his new assignment in Japan. He is one of the better bosses. He is serious at work, humorous at times, entertaining during events and understanding and patient all the time. I'm really grateful to have him as my boss for the past 1.5 year and thankful for all the encouragements he gave me when I felt useless at work.

The farewell dinner was held at YUE lounge. Lots of last minute preparation because both Celine and I were busy with other work. Surprisingly, the whole event turned out well and I'm glad most people enjoyed. I was quite afraid that people would not like the venue because its so hard to get in and the place is pretty small. But thankfully, Big boss, Kuwabara-san and Tricia liked it. Tricia mentioned that the venue has a good ambience for the event and that it is cosy enough. =) That's more than what I expected.

I was pretty teary at the end of the event when Kuwabara-san came to thank me. Its like he doesn't want to leave for Japan so soon. Anyway, the tears were partly for other reasons as well...

Enraged

Really upset. When things go wrong, people start to point fingers and the fault becomes mine again. So now… the air con is leaking and it’s my fault that we don’t have a maintenance contract?! WTF.

Alright, I have to admit that I’m partly at fault for not chasing for the approval of the maintenance contract. After all, office maintenance is within my scope of work. But this job was not part of my work in the first place.

During the office renovation, you alone made contact with the vendor, only you know what is required in the contract. I went through my email archive for the email you sent. You got the maintenance contract in Sep but you only forwarded it to me in late Nov. What rights do you have for blaming me fully for the delay when you are part of it?! You think I did not chase her from the approval? I did, and I mentioned it to her many times. Moreover, do you remember saying this, ‘… the aircon is still new, and the maintenance contract can wait. Not like the air con will break down anytime.’ I clearly remember you saying this.

I may sound like an unreasonable bitch pushing the blame to you. But that’s the fact, it’s your job in the first place and you should complete it. Moreover, I’m not MISC. Stop calling me that.

That is something I hate about the people in the company. They think that being the lowest ranking staff in the company has nothing to do most of the time and has no contribution to the company. I get fed up whenever some ask me, ‘你不是很闲空的吗?’or ‘你需要OT的meh?’You think I’m not busy and I’m not contributing to the company?! You know what… that’s where you are wrong. The reason why I can complete my work in time is because... I do not surf the internet, chat on msn, go for coffee break, swagger around in the office, spend long period chatting with others, etc. Isn’t those your favorite past time at work? Before you point fingers at others, reflect on your actions. Bastard…

Because SIM carpark was already full when we reached, dabian had to park at the NP carpark (behind block 82). That's LSCT territory!! We had to walk through the LSCT blocks to get to SIM. =)

I miss NP and school life. The LSCT blocks changed so much! The co-op area (aka the mosquito area) is so pretty now! I should have brought my camera along.

Walking through NP reminds me of poly days. We used to snack outside the co-op during breaktimes. Lunch-ed and fight for seats (with the SIM students) at the SIM food court. Mugged and rushed on project due dates at the mosquito area. 好怀念喔~!

Had dinner at SIM food court. Nazukashii naa... Their western food still so yummy. =9 I can't wait to start school in July. Yah~!! =)
I was appalled to see these rubbish in my bin this morning. I thought it is apparent to all that the office bins are only for dry refuse. Wet refuse are supposed to be disposed in the pantry’s bin. Why are the Japanese throwing these stuff into my bin?!

There goes my effort in keeping my work area cockroach-free and ant-free. According to an article I read some time ago, coffee are like heroine to cockroaches. They simply adore coffee. Who knows how many cockroaches were drawn to my work area last night?! *horrified* Let’s not forget about the ants… Frappe are sweet, a definite ant attractor. *horrified x2*

I was brainstorming what to get for Kuwabara’s farewell last evening. The news of him returning to Japan is so sudden, we do not have much time to prepare. I was thinking of doing a photo montage, like those photos-in-photo kind and not the photo collage kind. But the commercial photo montage artists are charging at least $300++ per piece! Abit off our budget. How?! The farewell dinner is next week! *worried*

** I will have to chop off my hand to stop myself from touching the blemished areas!

Yummilicious beancurd tart from Le Cafe. 

I don’t know why I’m so bothered. What passed is past. I should stop brooding over it. =/

I have no idea why my acne problem became so jia lat over the weekends. Now the pimples are red and swollen. Why is the condition worsening when I didn't even use make up? Damn sad...

I got my Letter of Offer from UOL last week. Going down to SIM to submit the necessary documents tomorrow. =)

Bah... Phoena is so adorable,I just have to post her photo here. So cute lah!!!

** Schu sale is still going on! =)

Dabian and I won tickets for the Gala Première of Clash of the Titans.

We were quite skeptical about the winning because we submitted our entries only 2 days before the end of the draw. So we thought either no one took part in the draw or we are just plain lucky. Well… I guess we were really lucky. The queue to collect the tickets was already so long 15minutes before the start of tickets distribution.

Anyway the show was quite good. There were a number of funny scenes. And the fights were quite well choreographed. But the 3D graphics is almost non-existent. The part which has the most 3D effect is the subtitle, IMO. The storyline is more or less adapted from the Ancient Greek Myths with familiar characters like Perseus, Zeus, Hades, Medusa, etc.

The show ended pretty late. The streets were so empty; we had a smooth ride with no stopping all the way to Khatib. The journey home took only 15-20 mins, I think. Oh…. and I left my bottle in the cinema. So kuku of me to forgot about it. =/
