Flying to Beijing in a few hours time. Its the first time the whole family is travelling overseas together. (I wasn't able to join them during the last 2 trips) But... somehow I feel like the trip was planned at the wrong timing.

I doubt I will be able to enjoy the trip without having to vex over certain matters.

Work... Handed over the outstanding work to Celine. Feeling really bad to make her settle the messy flight bookings I left over. Worried if I have missed out anything. Not forgetting the year end party (I've only managed to gather the attendance). I've maxed my ability to complete as much as possible today. =X

Personal matters... Sorry for not being there when you needed a listening ear. I know you don't want us to worry for you. But seeing you cry makes us even more worry about you. Please pick yourself up okie. I hope you would be feeling better when I return.

Things happened too quickly for the past months. Oct and Nov swept past in a blink of an eye. First it was JCS exams, then JLPT, then the trip tomorrow. I didn't have much rest even up till now. Anyway all this rush was worthwhile after receiving this letter. *points downwards*

The invitation letter to JCS graduation ceremony. Receiving this letter means I passed my paper! (It's a miracle! The papers were god damn tough lor!) Even though momo as already told me I've passed (she had insider info), I couldn't believe it till I receive the letter today. Hmm... lilely to be another 'hui huang' result.

Yeah! This year's graduate ceremony is abit more high class. It's at Carton Hotel! (very unlike last year's) Of course I going for the free food! XD

The book that kept me awake for the past few nights (besides the nights I mugged for JLPT). Very chim but very interesting. His first few chapters always comes with chim terms that requires me to re-read the paragragh a couple of times before understanding what it means. Yes... my english is that horrible. (eeks!)

The mess from all the last minute packing. The open luggage is mine. Not a pink fan but surprising lots of pink stuff inside. =O

Shit! I think Tricia mentioned about me during the management meeting. All of the sudden, the top management seems to know about me being able to understand Japanese.

1) VP approached me to help out with the tele-conference with some Japanese High School Students from HQ in Japan last week. I didn’t get to use a lot of Japanese though. =/

2) Today, the President approached me to help out with his scheduling. He was quite ambiguous when he explained what he wants me to do. But I think he wants me to translate his schedule from Japanese to English and then upload it to our system. Anyway he said he will brief me again some other time.

The point is that my Japanese isn’t really proficient and I can’t afford to offend any of them (even though they are really friendly most of the time). So I guess I’ve got to start working on my written and conversational Japanese from now on.

Working in a Japanese firm isn’t easy, especially when you get to receive this sort of ‘bomb’ each day. If I manage to pass JLPT 2 this year, I’m not going to tell anyone in the company. Well, I highly doubt that I can pass JLPT 2 anyway. I’ve barely started on my study!

I feel so paralyzed at work when both Tricia and Kuwabara are not around. There are so many matters I can only process with their approvals. But Kuwabara will only return the day before I fly and Tricia will only be back on the day I’m flying. How to get things done like that?! Damn sian lah…

Monday, November 30, 2009

I’m dead exhausted. Slept throughout the journey to work, standing. That’s a feat I haven’t been able to accomplish for the past few months (I usually read / play games).

Time now: 10:40am. And I’m already feeling half dead. The bottle of chicken essence and ginseng pills I took before starting work isn’t showing its effect. Probably overwhelmed by the weariness.

I’ve never had very dramatic PMS before, until lately. I’m not referring to stomach cramps (simply blessed for not experiencing it before) and sudden mood change (sudden mood change is a typical nature of a female even when we are not PMS-ing, IMO). I’m referring to sudden pimple outbreak and fatigue (probably the best explanation to my tiredness).

By sudden pimple outbreak, I meant pimple popping out during a 10~15mins afternoon nap. The pimple didn’t exist before my nap but it was already swelling red when I woke up from my short nap. And it isn’t exactly small, it’s quite big okie! Siao-ness!

Drafting this entry during work. There isn’t much to do since so many people are on leave. My thoughts drifted to the worrying weather condition in China when I read Tricia’s email. Then I thought of Mo, Tricia and her family. All of them are in Japan now where the weather condition is equally bad. Rather worried if mo brought enough clothing because she told me she is only bringing her trench coat and long sleeves. (>_<)

Ahh… I can’t wait for mo to return. She is helping me to get the new egg and NEWS Diamond. NEWS Diamond… Tegoshi is high school girl outfit! That’s definitely something to look out for. I heard that there are lots of tegopi rabu rabu scenes too. *grins* Oh… and the new egg. It’s going to be so different from the previous ones! =)

Weekend business has never been so good for a long time. Today's crowd was too scary for the 3 of us. Imagine having to speak (almost) non-stop from 2.30pm till 7pm. Zheng Yang and I hardly had the time to rest before another wave of crowd (of course, mini-er than the afternoon one) hit us at around 7+pm. DJ had to help us attend to enquries too. It feels good to see the people coming back. =)

28th Nov 2009 (Sat)

Cindy's birthday celebration at her place. SM, Weijie, Joc and I went over to help out earlier. Actually, we didn't really helped much. (>_<) Played Jenga while waiting for Cindy's guests to arrive. When her guest arrived, SM and I became her photographer-for-the-day. Of course, SM is the more professional one, I only managed to blind people with my blinding flashlight. XDD

I'm glad Cindy had fun during her party. We truly enjoyed ourselves too. It was a great opportunity for us to catch up with each other. =)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
27th Nov 2009 (Fri)
Hari Raya Haji. As usual, the skateline peeps gather for a karaoke session at TopOne. I'm not sure why but I wasn't really in the mood for singing that day. Probably PMS. *shrugs*
Anyway, the karaoke session was a cover-up for weijie's birthday celebration. We suprised him with a cake when he arrived. I'm glad he liked it. =) After the karaoke session, dabian and I went for dessert with DJ and angelic at Ah Chew. =9
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Momo has flew for Japan. I hope she is enjoying herself there. =) Remember to update us when you return yo!

Too too too tired to blog. Concussing any moment now..... *yawns*

I’ve got nothing much to do in the office recently. It’s quite usual for me to be so free during an event preparation. =/

Unfortunately, I’m seated right in front of the president. If not, I would have studied for JLPT during my free periods. Better than wasting time trying to dig for work. =/

大変!私の日本語は本当にだめかな。さっき、同僚とpantryで話す時。。。
同僚: 今日学校(がっこう)へ行きますか。
私: ええ。。がっこうえ?何これ?

OMG lah… 我竟然退步到这种简单的字句也听不懂。真是惭愧!T_T

Monday, November 23, 2009

どうしょうかな?! 副社長によると、明後日NTTComからの高校生がNTTSを訪問し、私は周りをもたらす。でも、私の日本語は本当にダメだよ。全然自信がない。T_T

I have no life. Seriously.

Super sian with the weekly rountine. Work has made me a really dull person and I guess thats why friends are drawing away from me. The harder I try to be nicer to people, the more I seem to irritate/annoy/offend people.

But no work means no money. I have no idea where my money disappears to every month. I'm always pretty poor at the end of the month. I need to save for studies next year.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I only found out that Yamapi's sister is of my age today. Unbelievable!
Thursday, November 19, 2009
Yipee! End of JCS exams. This year’s paper is probably the hardest ever. The bunpou was non-doable, the oral was a killer and the listening was horribly hard to understand. I simply doubt that I can make it to the graduation ceremony at Carlton Hotel on 17th Dec. But whatever lah.. as long as I did my best.
The next worrying matters are JLPT 2 and the cold weather in China.
I’m having that same something-is-poking-into-my-lung feeling again. As if something is prodding underneath the lower half of my right ribcage. Massaging doesn’t even help ease the pain. I hope it just goes off after awhile like before. Previously, it took only a day to shake off the discomfort.
Mugging... mugging... mugging... mugging... mugging...
Attempting to squeeze in as much info as possible before 8pm tonight. Now I'm regreting not paying more attention in class.
Anyway I've finally got a new hairdo. I look like china girl now. (>_<)
Really really late entry.
I'm left with only half an hour or so.... to wish my dearest dearest dearest darling TEGOSHI. <3
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!
*Sending flying kisses* <3<3<3<3<3<3
I really wished I did something special to celebrate his birthday... like bake a cake, do up some picspam, etc. But I didn't managed to do anything of this sort. I could only come out with this really simple-to-do collage of Tegoshi within such short time frame. Gomen ne... tesshi. =(
Loves Tegoshi as much as Dabian!!!! <3 *Blushes*
Sharing one of my favourite Tegoshi's birthday post from a fellow Tegoshi-lover. Thank you faith_alive. =))
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Reason why I couldn't celebrate Tegoshi's birthday in proper... ... Exams.

His birthday marks the first day of JCS exam. =( Report writing today, written paper on Friday, oral on Sunday and listening next Thursday. AND I have not started studying in proper!!! (WTH!)

I think my body is reacting really badly to the exams. Firstly, sudden illness that recovers as quick as it comes. Secondly, bad rashes/pimples/redness on my cheeks, forehead, neck and chest. Thirdly, stomach bloatedness that doesn't seems to go away. Fourthly, feeling nauseous and dizzy. Lastly, extreme fatigue. (-____-)

Kami-sama... Please give me a easy paper on Friday and a easy oral question on Sunday!!! =X

Was freaking pissed off in office today! Seriously do not understand why some people can be so childish at their age!

请不要把自己想得那么清高!你以为自己很了不起吗?!F*** OFF BITCH!

Friday, October 09, 2009

I should have known that the recent fatigue was a warning to an illness.

Body temperature went up to above 38deg last night. Was feeling horribly ill (headache and body ache) in office yesterday but I didn't expect a fever. Went to see the family doc and was given a MC for today. =)

As usual, the fever subsided overnight. =/ Feeling so much better today besides the occasional headache and body ache. =)

Ah... was watching NEWS pacific concert this morning. After watching, no more body aches. Thanks to all the flailing and \ (^_^) /.

An apple a day, keeps the doc away.
Fangirling each day, keeps the doc away too. XD

Another Hexic record! =)

Damn... I almost achieved the 6black gem star formation. Hates that bomb by the corner! Couldn't clear it at all! *ROARS!!*

Reading koizora and addicted to it. Realized why momo is hooked to shousetsu. Suddenly zasshi seems so boring. (>_<)

Ahh.. I’m at the part where hiro did horrible things to make mika leave him. Damn saddening! It’s even more touching as compared to the movie.

Been watching lots of old NEWS clips… because
1) video conversion is so much simpler and faster now
2)compensation for the lack of fangirl-ing recently
3)Tegoshi has prettier hair in the past XDD

My japanese colleague (who happens to know Koichi personally) commented that Tegoshi’s ugly hair is similar to his. That makes me wonder why curly hair has suddenly become the trend in Japan. Nice meh???!!! =/

Monday, September 28, 2009

Oh dear… my office eye candy caught me during my most un-glam moment. I was yawning at my desk when he approached me. Shuai ge sensor failed horribly today. (T_T)

It’s a hazard to have Domoto Kyoudai uploaded into my itouch. While watching it on my way to work, I had a hard time restraining myself from laughing out loud. The best I could achieve was to reduce the laughter to giggles. I must have looked really silly giggling to myself earlier on. (>_<)

Bah! Another not-much-work-to-do day. I rather have an extremely busy day at work to a got-to-pretend-there-are-work-to-be-done day. Hmm… I love the feeling of being busy. It makes me feel important and not too much of a loafer or nobody in the company. 負けないの気持ちだろう。。手越ちゃんらしかなあ。。

Friday, September 25, 2009

Bah! Hadn't surf the internet for days! All thanks to the new firewall in the office. That shows how reliant I am on the office internet. The amount of time I have at home only allows around 30mins of computer time. That includes updating my zoo on facebook, checking the email and on/off -ing my laptop. (my laptop is so laggy, I think its dying soon!!!! T_T) Usually, I 'concuss' on the sofa even before on-ing the laptop. XD

Gaining lots of weight and getting more and more pimple-ly. Oh well.. what can I do? =/

So glad to be back into clubbox-ing. Currently clubbox-ing karei naru spy. XP

Loves momo for sharing the crack for Any Video Converter. =) Now I can convert clips into itouch version at a faster rate! Woohoo! I just converted Massu's part of Shounen Club Premium last evening and it took only ~15mins! Woah!

While watching Massu's SCP on the way to work this morning, I realised how long I have not updated myself on their news. Seriously failed as a fan. (T_T) All I know is that my dear tegoshi is doing Dreamboys now and that tegomass just ended their first con.

Bah! This is a pretty random and meaningless update. Nevertheless, its an effort to make this blog not so dead. =/

Thursday, September 03, 2009

I really enjoy reading Yanwen’s blog. Yanwen is a young mummy whose blog I accidentally stumbled into while blog-hopping in office one day. Since the day I blog-hopped to the site, I’ve became her regular reader – or rather daily reader. (sounds like some kind of stalker huh. >_< don’t worry I’m not that pervertic.)

I think subconsciously I envy her life therefore I keep going back for more updates. I would say she has the perfect family every girl wishes for. A doting husband and the most adorable daughter. Exactly the thing a typical girl would want in life – a blissful marriage and a happy loving family.

Her husband is also a senior technician in the air force, just like dabian. But he was chosen for job training in Texas for 2 years. Therefore they married and went to Texas. She got pregnant there in Texas and gave birth there in Texas. And she is having a wonderful life taking care of the cutest daughter ever and her husband.

I was telling dabian earlier how I desire a life like that – the home maker way of life. All I have to do each day is to clean the place, look after the kid, cook and wait diligently for my husband to return home. In my picture perfect imaginary world, my husband will shout ‘tada ima’ when he returns, which I would reply with ‘okaeri’. In the evening, we would sit in front of the TV and laugh through comedies or listen to him grumble about work. During the weekends, we would bring our kids out for picnic or a simple stroll in the park.

However, I know a simple dream like this is tough to fulfill in the modern world. Single income can no longer support the entire family. How I wish dabian has a chance to go for overseas training too… like the long term kind. =/

OMFG!!!

Yamapi and Ryo have been diagnosed with Influenza A! What the shit! And there are news saying Tegoshi is down with fever! What the SHIT!!

Hope my darling boys recover soon. =(

Tuesday, September 01, 2009

I’m going to start studying for JLPT 2 this week. Got to be more determined this time, slacked too much last year. =X I’ve printed out the JLPT 2 notes I found online and I’m going to bind it this time. (I don’t even remember where I threw last year’s notes) Planning to study for the exam on the way to work, instead of gaming on my ipod touch. As usual, I hope whatever I’ve planned isn’t just NATO. (>_<)

Ahh… and I should do up the entry on my birthday celebrations too. =/

Seriously think that I need a time turner like the one Hermione has in Prisoner of Azkaban. There is so much to be done yet so little time to complete. If only I back to poly school days…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today is 1st September. Today is Teachers’ Day. Today is a SPECIAL day. Because… Today is our 5th Anniversary!
HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSARY! <3
Time flies. 5 years gone in the blink of an eye. From strangers in an online forum to acquaintances, from friends to lovers. We are already halfway through our 9 years agreement. =) I consider myself a lucky girl to have met dabian and to be able to be together for so long. He is such a wonderfully nice guy; I doubt I can find another better than him. He is probably the only person (besides my family) who is able to tolerate all my nonsense.
Thank you for all the sweet moments spent together
Thank you for being patient with me all the time.
Thank you for being by my side always.
Thank you for loving me so dearly. <3
P.S.: I’m counting down to meeting dabian later for a yummilicious dinner at Gyu Kaku. =D
Tuesday, August 18, 2009
My shuai ge sensor detects a eye candy in the office. It took the HQ long enough to realize that they should be sending more young and good looking expats over. XDDD
Eye candy = Motivation to work
Eye candy + eye candy + many many more eye candies = Motivation to perform better at work + Motivation to come to work early every morning + Interactions amongst staffs + Smiles – Morning blues
Awww… 日本小帅哥果然是我的死穴。Suddenly thinking of Tegoshi and having the urge to fangirl. (>_<) Don’t worry! I LOVE my Dabian the most. Oh… I can’t wait for Friday! We are going to the Bird Park and Dabian said he has prepared my birthday present. *hops around with anticipation and joy* =D
Brief brief back blog.
National Day Celebration
9 th Aug 2009
National day celebration with the skateline peeps. Barbequed at Caleb’s place. =)
Jenn and I left work early to shop for the barbeque stuff together with Junyi, Siew Ying and Greenman. =) For the first time (in all of skateline’s barbeques), Jenn and I were early. XD
Helping to set up the pit.
We had more people coming to the barbeque this time. It was great to see the old students, new students and their family. The children were all so adorable! =)
Planned to say the pledge together at 8:22pm but we didn’t. Most of us were at the basketball court watching the guys play. =X
I love having fun with the skateline peeps. =D
Photos here and here.
The usual karaoke session at Topone. =D
I love love love karaoke sessions even though I suck at singing. Ho ho ho!!! Sorry for the noise pollution! XDD
Photobucket
I think this is a damn nice karaoke shot.
Oh… even better with greenman and jenn in it. *wolf whistles* XPP
Was surprised with a mini birthday celebration for ME! I was back facing the door when Junyi and Jenn came in with the cake and was still very blur when they were singing the birthday song. Anyway, thanks guys for the birthday celebration, cake and gift. I love you all!!! =DDD
25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
13th Aug 2009
Pronouncer: Please spell the word ‘CAT’.
Contestant: Can I have a definition of the word.
Pronouncer: A cat is a cat
Contestant: Eh… can I have it used in a sentence?
Pronouncer: Sure. Please spell the word ‘CAT’.
That was a word from the Spelling Bee. XD Thanks to Philip, we got the tickets to the musical for free. =) It was dabian’s first time watching a musical and it was my first time taking the stall seats (its usually the circle seats for me).
Photobucket
The seat we got was great! Now I know why stall seats are usually a lot more expensive – because the audience gets to participate in the act.
4 random audiences was picked to join in the performance. They were made to spell too! And that Indian audience who was called up on stage was damn lucky to have guessed the spelling of the last 2 words correctly! It was evident that he didn’t know the word and was tikam-ing the spelling. Even the performers were shocked that he got the spelling right! Hahahs..
Truly enjoyed the musical. And looking forward to watching Victoria with momo in Nov. =D
Birthday Celebration with BFFs
15th Aug 2009
Celebrated our 21st birthdays together with BFFs. Happy birthday to all of us! =D
Birthday celebration at Jewel Box. Initial plan was to meet Jac and Momo at Junction 8 to collect our cake and slowly make our way to Jewel Box. Well… it didn’t go according to plan because I was late again. =X Met the both of them at Mo’s place and Jac drove us to J8 to collect the cake.
First time at Jewel Box. The place is pretty! But the way up the hill was dizzy.
Photobucket
BFFs! <3
I quite like the ambience and the food served. The only minus point is the slow service and pricey menu.
Photobucket
Sea-smoked tuna for appetizer. It was heavenly! =9
Photobucket
Main course: Salmon coated with Pistachios served with mashed potato and assorted vegetables =9
Photobucket
Our cake from Crystal Jade.
Photobucket
Vainness caught in action! XDDD
After the meal and cam-whoring session, we headed to Vivo City’s Haagen Dazs for dessert!
Photobucket
Yummy yummy chocolate fondue! =9
Little Joey caught in the act of stealing our green apple.
We met little Joey while we were at Haagen Dasz. Her family was seated next to our table but she kept coming over to talk to us. What an adorable little girl! And she loves green apple! O_O
Great birthday celebration cum meet-up with my BFFs. =) And we promised to celebrate our birthday together like that for every year from now. =D
Having dinner at home tonight! =D
I miss homecooked food!!! I miss mum's cooking!!!
Tuesday, August 11, 2009
I’ve been feeling a sharp pain around my right rib cage for the entire day. It’s like there is something prodding the organ within. =/
新堂本兄弟 [2nd Aug 2009]
Tegoshi is sooooo cute lah! ♥
I love his new hair colour! ♥
Mesmerising smile, electrifying eyes. ♥
How can anyone not love my dear Tegoshi♥♥♥?!!! XDD
I love Massu too! =DDD
Monday, August 03, 2009
Finally cleared JCS term test. I’ve got a strong feeling that it’s going to be another ‘辉煌’ result. Was dozing off halfway through the paper (during the sequencing and compre portion), despite the mocha extreme I was sipping before and during the test. *shakes head*
Accompanied momo to the national library after the test, she had to do some research for her literature review. Ethics and values. Hmm… definitely not an easy topic to write on. We spent almost 3 hours in the library, only to complete the definition part. =S Good luck to momo. =X
A bit of back-blogging. =) In periodical manner – from the earliest to latest. *massive massive entry*
Cruise getaway to Redang
A long awaited holiday, a long awaited break.
First time travelling with dabian, first time travelling in the longest period ever (my last trip was more than 10 years ago!). =)
Day 1 – 22th Jul 2009
Woke up super late in the morning and headed to dabian’s house to pack my stuff in the afternoon. Dabian’s dad gave us a lift to the cruise centre. =)
Photobucket
Getting ready for the trip
Checked-in at around 4pm ++. We were fortunate because we didn’t have to queue too long for check-in and boarding – privilege for the balcony class holders. =) A group of aunties (world cruiser holders) who were next to our queue was super bs because they were there earlier than us and we get to board earlier. =X
Photobucket
Photobucket
9058. Our room! =)
Photobucket
Dabian reading the itinerary on the bed and a pretty view of the balcony.
Photobucket
The pool, the Jacuzzi, the slide. <3
The first evening/night was pretty short. Went for a stroll along the deck and explored the other levels. We went back to our room to arrange some stuff before heading out again for the emergency drill briefing. After the briefing, we had dinner at The Mediterranean restaurant, which tasted like canteen food. =/ Jacuzzi-ed after dinner. Damn shiok! =)
Later that night, we went for karaoke session. $50 per hour! O_O But we had fun. =D
Photobucket
Photobucket
Strolled along the deck after karaoke and played a game of checkers before heading back to our room.
Photobucket
The enormous checkers set. I totally suck at checkers. =/
Photobucket
The enormous chess set.
Day 2 – 23th July 2009
We had dim sum in the morning. I love love love dim sum! =D
Photobucket
Dim sum! <3
Morning walked on the deck.
Photobucket
The sea breeze was awesome. I couldn’t even take a proper shot with the wind messing up my hair constantly.
Photobucket
Dabian all ready for Redang.
Photobucket
The little boats which ferried us to and fro Redang.
Photobucket
Welcome to Redang!
The pretty beach.
Photobucket
Photobucket
The beach is so so so pretty! And the water is so so so clear!! <3
Photobucket
The white white sand.
Photobucket
The view of SSV from the ferry back to the ship.
Really enjoyed the short trip to Redang island. Even though we didn’t try any of the water activities, soaking in the sea water and floating together with the waves was good enough. It was truly relaxing. =)
Headed back to our room to wash up. The amount of debris we brought back up to the ship was scary. We had to call for room service because the room was too sandy after that. XDD
Used our dining credit at Samurai restaurant that evening.
Photobucket
My jumbo prawns. =9
Photobucket
Dabian’s beef something~
Day 3 – 24th July 2009
Woke up damn early on our last day. Our plan: to view the sunrise together from our balcony.
Our plan didn’t work quite well.
1) Our balcony is not facing the sunrise direction. -___- I had to whine and whine for dabian to accompany me to the deck to view the sunrise.
2) Unfortunately, it was raining the previous night (I had no idea), and the cloud were too thick to even see the sun. =/
Since we were already out of bed and it was still early, we strolled around other parts of the ship while waiting for the Chinese restaurant to open.
Photobucket
Photobucket
View from the back of the ship.
Photobucket
Something wrong with the Japanese?! =/
We had dim sum for breakfast again! I love love love dim sum!! <3
Photobucket
After the sumptuous dim sum breakfast, we morning-walk around the pool and the photo gallery.
Photobucket
The person (partially hidden behind the yellow pole) who slow-motioned down the slide. The scene was hilarious! He is sliding down at an extremely slow pace and he would look at our direction when he reaches that clear portion of the slide. XDD
Photobucket
The photo gallery where we spent most of our money at.
Went back to our room early to pack our luggage. This is probably the most tedious and saddening itinerary. =( 3 days is just too short.
We had our last lunch onboard at Pavillion. One of the better free buffet-style restaurant. Coincidentally, the person who slow-motioned down the slide earlier in the morning, sat next to our table at the restaurant. XD
Photobucket
Dabian’s hamburger steak.
Photobucket
My pork rib fried rice.
Photobucket
Strawberry ice cream for all! =9
Photobucket
Fort Siloso from our balcony.
Photobucket
Last couple shot at the poolside before checking out. =(
Photobucket
Bye-bye SSV.
Dabian’s dad and sister came to pick us up from the cruise centre. =) I was partially dead on the journey back home and totally dead when we got home. Tired, tired, tired!! Slept from the moment we reached home till around 6pm++ in the evening. Dabian was watching drama while I snoozed, I wondered how he managed it. =X
We had dinner at Terminal 3’s 店小二. All the good food for 3 days. =)
Photobucket
I super love this shot. Dabian looks cute here. XPP
Photobucket
O_O
Photobucket
Food!!! =9
July SNS
ECP to Changi Village – 25th July 2009
No rest for the day after the trip. Woke up early for woke and ended work early for SNS. It’s the same old route from the women’s night skate last year. Too bad none of my skating kakis could make it for this SNS.
Photobucket
Skated with Aileen for the first part of the course. She was telling me a lot about studies and work. Really enriching conversation. =) I guess I should start worrying for my studies and career pathway. =X
Photobucket
After the second water break, I lost track of Aileen and was skating with Hui Yi and her father most of the time. It was Hui Yi’s first time skating such a long distance and she was pretty much worn out halfway through the runway. She kept asking if we were reaching soon. XD Well… she completed the whole course and I’m so proud of her! =)
SM’s belated birthday celebration
27th July 2009
Cindy and I celebrated SM’s 21st birthday after work. The birthday celebration was belated because SM was overseas on the actual day (honeymoon-ing with her bf) and I was away when she returned.
Had dinner at the Glass House. Though things did not go according to plan, I’m glad she enjoyed the dinner and our company.
See! Can’t blame me for putting weird photos of SM. She is always giving me that look! XDDD
Sing Dollar
1st August 2009
Momo and I went to catch the Sing Dollar Musical at Esplanade theatre. We had no idea that the musical was a day before JCS term test when we purchased the tickets in April. =X
The show was great! Well production by the cast of Dim Sum Dollies. =) Synopsis can be found here.
I love love love the way they talked about controversial issues such as prostitution (Filipinos and Chinese), Bangladeshi workers, money laundering, etc. Despite the coarse language used, the entire show was well written and up-to-date. They used really current issues such as MJ’s death, Ming Yi Fa Shi’s court case, etc. Momo and I both think that they changed the script a little recently – to add in those few bits. Good job! =)
But still I prefer CATS and Dim Sum Dollies. =/
