Sorry the unplanned hiatus. It would be an understatement to say that past few weeks were
hectic. My schedule was insanely packed, even though dabian is not around. Plus the Japanese report that I needed to hand in last week. I was totally drained. Been dozing off at the oddest place and at the weirdest time so frequently.
Today is probably the
worst day in the entire week. Firstly, the shit at work; simply hate office politics. Secondly, the misunderstanding between my BFFs. Thirdly, the horrible position I got myself into with my skateline friends, with whom I got closer to recently.
And all of these unhappy happenings have to happen when dabian is not around. Dabian quickly quickly returns! T_T I need you by my side!
Anyway this post was planned to update the happenings since my 4 days leave, not to rant. Shall try to recall and think of what to write, to get all the unhappy thoughts off my mind.
27 Feb 09 (Fri)The very first day of my leave.
I had to clear my leave before my contract expires, so I took this chance to spend more time with dabian, before he flies to Thailand. He took leave too! =)
I planned for ‘sports day’ because I desparately need to lose some weight. But dabian was totally against the idea. In the end, we went to watch Suspect X at Tampines Mall. It was a great show! Makes me feel like watching Galileo! =/
Later part of the afternoon was spent at Expo, looking at the NATAS crowd. We didn’t enter the show because the queue was too long and both of us hate crowded areas! Ended up having afternoon tea and headed back home to rest. Leave should be spent resting at home! =/
28 Feb 09 (Sat)Took a day off from skateline. Dabian and I visited

We had yummy beef noodle at Far East Square before heading over to Sentosa. Met Mr Irwin Goh at VivoCity coincidentally. He was heading to Sentosa too!
I remember running through IOS twice because I was frighten of the wax figurines. But that was when I was very young. This time, I managed to stay in there for 3 hours! *sense of accomplishment*

Headed to BSP after our afternoon tea at Sentosa. It was pouring cats and dogs when we came out from IOS. It was still raining heavily at bishan when we reached too. SNS had to be postponed to the following week because of the bad weather. And hence, we (junyi and i) headed to the multi-storey carpark to practice our
slalom. Weijie, Siew Ying, Ruth, Eric and Dave came down as well.
Supper-ed with peeps after slalom-ing. Lots of fun and laughter at the dinner table. >.<

Accompanied dabian to the super crowded People’s Park Complex to change for Thai Baht. The queue was horribly long and the place was super warm! But the queue was worth the wait, the exchange rate were super good at that shop.
Evening was spent at my place. It's Jian Sheng’s birthday!
HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY, BRO! He is 12 and he still loves pooh bear! How cute is that?! >.< Even though it’s kinda worrying that he still talks to his bear everyday. =/ Anyway, dabian and I got him a durian cake! It’s his favorite and he loved it! *no pictures of my brother and his cake because my camera was dead*
6 Mar 09 (Fri)This is the day dabian gone to Thailand. Damn saddening can. =(
We skated till 9plus the previous night because dabian had to report at camp early today. 2 weeks of not being able to see him, is devastating. Even more agonizing than having to put on 4kg. T_T I was pretty emo the entire day.
7 Mar 09 (Sat)It rained again and SNS was cancelled! I hate it when it rains on Thursdays and Saturdays, especially when there is supposed to be SNS. But we had backup plan this time! After work, a long ‘discussion’ with the peeps at BSP and helping out with the closing, Junyi, Jon, Jack and I headed to Yishun Safra for
Karaoke. We were companied by DJ, Phil, Mike and their family. We had Moon as well.
First time singing karaoke with Junyi. All of us were quite high that day! And lots of
unglam photos were taken. THANKS AR DAVID! =S

Junyi's Wet Weather ProgrammeDavid's Wet Weather Program! My Version13 Mar 09 (Fri)Momo and I went down to the Body Shop Warehouse Sales and the IT show after work. The crowd at Suntec was SCARY! We had the hardest time making our way in!
First stop:
Body Shop Warehouse Sale. They gave insanely good discount and of course, the crowd went insane as well. Momo and I spent a few good hours there fighting, snatching, grabbing, pushing, squeezing and what other auntie methods there is. Alright I exaggerated but the crowd at the sale was totally out of control. We had to resort to really obsence ways to get our stuff. Girls~!
Next stop:
IT Show. This was a lot easier for us because we went at around 8plus when people are preparing to close. Surprisingly, we managed to see and get everything we planned earlier.
Helped cat and sm to get their memory card and mp3 respectively. And momo got her memory card and managed to ask about her apple. Anyway I guess the best buy of the day (for both momo and me) has got to be the
Sennheisser CX400 earpiece. Despite the price, it gave us
superb quality music. Even momo is impressed at how good WEEEK sounded. But of course, any NEWS songs are always good! =)
15 Mar 09 (Sun)HAPPY 49th BIRTHDAY to MUM! *hugs and loves*
The day was pretty much like any other Sunday. I worked in the morning and was late as usual. Followed by class in the afternoon. Had to hand in that stupid report with ultra difficult title. Ahhh..
Brothers had some kind of swimming competition that day and Mum and Dad were down to support. By the time the competition ended, it was already 6plus! Because I had time after class before meeting them, momo and I roamed around the area. Got some good stuffs from
Clinique and we WALKED down to momo’s second home to collect my magazine! =) We had to walk because there was a traffic jam, we suspect it’s due to the IT show.
When I finally met up with my family, it was already 7plus! We travelled all the way to somewhere-near-expo for dinner, just because dad knows the boss there. -__-
16 Mar 09 (Mon)It was supposed to be a movie outing for the part timers but we changed it to potluck last minute. And it quickly became a pre-advanced birthday celebration for Junyi and Phil. I hope they both enjoyed and I wish Junyi isn’t too upset about the cake smashing thingie. >.<
Anyway we couldn’t skate because the taiji people were there doing their stuff in the rink! =( I carried my skates all the way there and I didn’t get to skate! T_T
