National Day Celebration

National day celebration with the skateline peeps. Barbequed at Caleb’s place. =)
Jenn and I left work early to shop for the barbeque stuff together with Junyi, Siew Ying and Greenman. =) For the first time (in all of skateline’s barbeques), Jenn and I were early. XD

We had more people coming to the barbeque this time. It was great to see the old students, new students and their family. The children were all so adorable! =)
Planned to say the pledge together at 8:22pm but we didn’t. Most of us were at the basketball court watching the guys play. =X

The usual karaoke session at Topone. =D
I love love love karaoke sessions even though I suck at singing. Ho ho ho!!! Sorry for the noise pollution! XDD
I think this is a damn nice karaoke shot.
Oh… even better with greenman and jenn in it. *wolf whistles* XPP
Was surprised with a mini birthday celebration for ME! I was back facing the door when Junyi and Jenn came in with the cake and was still very blur when they were singing the birthday song. Anyway, thanks guys for the birthday celebration, cake and gift. I love you all!!! =DDD

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Pronouncer: Please spell the word ‘CAT’.
Contestant: Can I have a definition of the word.
Pronouncer: A cat is a cat
Contestant: Eh… can I have it used in a sentence?
Pronouncer: Sure. Please spell the word ‘CAT’.
That was a word from the Spelling Bee. XD Thanks to Philip, we got the tickets to the musical for free. =) It was dabian’s first time watching a musical and it was my first time taking the stall seats (its usually the circle seats for me).
The seat we got was great! Now I know why stall seats are usually a lot more expensive – because the audience gets to participate in the act.
4 random audiences was picked to join in the performance. They were made to spell too! And that Indian audience who was called up on stage was damn lucky to have guessed the spelling of the last 2 words correctly! It was evident that he didn’t know the word and was tikam-ing the spelling. Even the performers were shocked that he got the spelling right! Hahahs..
Truly enjoyed the musical. And looking forward to watching Victoria with momo in Nov. =D

Birthday Celebration with BFFs

Celebrated our 21st birthdays together with BFFs. Happy birthday to all of us! =D
Birthday celebration at Jewel Box. Initial plan was to meet Jac and Momo at Junction 8 to collect our cake and slowly make our way to Jewel Box. Well… it didn’t go according to plan because I was late again. =X Met the both of them at Mo’s place and Jac drove us to J8 to collect the cake.
First time at Jewel Box. The place is pretty! But the way up the hill was dizzy.
BFFs! <3
I quite like the ambience and the food served. The only minus point is the slow service and pricey menu.
Sea-smoked tuna for appetizer. It was heavenly! =9
Main course: Salmon coated with Pistachios served with mashed potato and assorted vegetables =9

After the meal and cam-whoring session, we headed to Vivo City’s Haagen Dazs for dessert!

We met little Joey while we were at Haagen Dasz. Her family was seated next to our table but she kept coming over to talk to us. What an adorable little girl! And she loves green apple! O_O
Great birthday celebration cum meet-up with my BFFs. =) And we promised to celebrate our birthday together like that for every year from now. =D
