I PASSED JLPT 3!! =D I thought I was going to fail. Scored 61.75%, passed by 7 marks. Super heng!


Was reading the newspaper. There was an article about a 9 year old mother, the dad too in primary school. The mum was already 6 months pregnant when they found out and it was too late for an abortion. This actually happened in Singapore! =X Kids nowadays develop really fast.

I'm missing dabian. =(

First day at TLL. Sm and I did alot of walking and changing of buses because we were unsure of the location. NUS is too big!


It turned out that we will be sharing the same lab with Soo Cheng and Eling and that our project might overlap. =) Anyway, there are 2 japanese in the lab, my supervisor and one of her assistant. Both of them speak good english as compared to JCS teachers. =)


We spent the entire day reading reviews. Boring! The reviews we usually read in NP is approximately 12-20 pages. The review our supervisor made us read was 60 pages (with very tiny words) excluding 10 full page of references. Madness! I'm still on page 11 and I dozed off countless time while reading. Fruitfly is too complex an insect for me. =X


TLL is a great place, full with elites (with extremely messy tables). Scientists streaming in and out of the lab, working dilligently on their experiments without referring to any protocol while checking germline configurations on their laptops. Thats one thing I can never achieve. I'll be lost without a protocol or a partner.

Not in the mood to sleep yet. I've print the notes I'm suppose to read for tomorrow but am too lazy to read it. Will probably do it on the MRT tomorrow morning. Nervous nervous! =X

Too much new year goodies adds up to constipation. Thats what I'm feeling now, plus abit of fatness. =(

Been super lazy. Its so saddening that I've only 1 week of holidays. I dread going to temesek research link for FYP on monday. I need a longer break!

I always feel like giving up japanese when I do my jap homework. It's too tough for me I think. =(

Watched the Ghost Rider with dabian earlier this morning. That show was absolutely terrific. Very nice! I love the storyline, the graphic, the sound.. everything. Everyone should go watch it. =))

Finally, the end of the examinations. Hope I pass all my modules especially immunology and math. I hate to do this modules again.

Everyone was super happy after the paper this morning. No one was in the mood for exams actually. Me being blur as usual, had my stack of immunology notes on the table when the exams was able to start. I had no idea I left the notes there if not for Raine, I would have been caught for cheating. =X

After the paper, me, sm and Cindy went shopping! First to Vivo city then to Bugis. My whole leg is aching!!!

Dabian was my valentine! Like~ duh! Met him after shopping with the girls. We went for dinner at Bistro Delifrance in Lot1. Our initial plan was either Suki sushi or Sakae but both queues were super long and because of my aching feet, I refused to wait. Anyway we still had to wait in the end. A 1 hour queue for our dinner! But we were damn lucky we got the sofa seats.

Though our dinner didn't look a single bit appetising, it was absolutely delicious and filling. The dessert was the best part, its not only yummy, it costed only $2 each. Super cheap right?!

I forgot to take a photo of my present to dabian. I got him a wallet! Actually picked the wallet for sm as her vday gift to yq but I got it instead. This is the first ever non-disc gift (besides the stars I folded for him for our 2nd anniversary) I bought for him in our 2 years plus relationship. This shows how seldom we buy presents for each other. I didn't even thought of getting him a vday gift initially. =X Anyway its the thought that counts. I still love him dearly even if he didn't get me anything. =)

Restless restless. I can never stay still while studying. Its 11:20pm now, I'm not even halfway through PAT and I feel like sleeping already. I'm so dead.

So embarrassing! I called Dabian a few minutes ago using my home phone. His brother picked up the call and I couldn't recognise the voice so I thought I dialled the wrong number. So I immediately say "wrong number!". Then his brother started laughing and said "You called the right number. Haha! Why in such a rush to hang the phone call. Haha!" T.T


So embarrassing! So embarrassing! Somemore, I shouted "DABIAN!" when the call was picked up. Dabian called back after that and started laughing all the way. Saddening. =(

Dabian sent me to JCS today. Was super late because of the car wash. There was supposed to be enough time for the wash and travel to bugis but the car wash plus waiting time lasted around 40 mins. When we were at the petrol koisk, there was only 1 other car in the queue. Normally the waiting time will be very short if there's only a few cars. But only ONE staff was doing the washing and he took his own sweet time on a single car. Pissed.


When I finally reached JCS, momo told me about the auntie story. That auntie who attempted to "snatch" our seats last week, "attacked" the row behind us today. Hello kitty who always sit behind us was super pissed. Stupid auntie. After being in JCS for 2 years, she should know that the seats are fixed. If not, what for the class sitting position list.

Dabian came to fetch me after work around noon. He asked me if I wanna get engaged now. O.O Shocked.


Had dinner at Dabian's place, "reunioun dinner". =) His whole family was there, so pai seh can. His father keep stuffing me with food. I'm super bloated now. =X

AMB common test 2 was relatively easy. BUT I spelt too many words wrongly, my results will sure to be affected. How stupid can I get.. Saccharomyces cerevisiae spelt Saccoromyces cerevisiae. To think that I've been spelling that word since Year one and it appeared in the front part of the paper, the MCQ part. =X


Must start mugging for the exams. =)
