Bored bored.


I think I've got the boring-est project ever. Daily rountine: pick pupas, select virgin flies, cross breed, fatten flies, dissect, staining, mounting... The cycle goes on and on. Unlike other groups, they do fun things like PCR, gel electrophoresis.. etc. I'm jealous.


I hate smelling stinky fly food everyday. My nose runs every time I pick pupas. Just today, I picked 8 bottles of pupas. Had to OT because there wasn't enough female virgins for tomorrow's crossbreed and I had to prepare. Tomorrow I will have to select over hundreds of female virgins from today's pupa. Can die..


I hate the fly room. Sometimes people just leave the carbon dioxide tanks on even when it is not in use, carbon dioxide gets trap inside the enclosed fly room. I get sleepy, dry-throated and bad tempered whenever this happens. Too much carbon dioxide and not enough oxygen. What if I faint like those flies? =X


I'm super lazy to do my logbook now. Shall do it in the lab tomorrow. Yawns.

Olympics champion swimmer, Aleksandr Popov is here in Singapore. Mum and my youngest brother went to hear his interview cum talk session at the Singapore Sports School this afternoon. Singapore swimmier Tao Li was there too. According to mum and bro, many swimmers from different clubs went there for a glimpse of Aleksandr Popov. I did a wiki search on him. Go read his story, quite interesting. =) *I know Jaclyn will be very interested.*

I don't want to do literature review! Not in the mood for assignments especially when my brothers are enjoying their holidays. I miss shopping. =(

Dabian will be promoted to 3rd sergent on the 26th this month. =)

Received my Tiffany & Co. sterling silver necklace which I purchased online some time before the exams. Very pretty even though the pendant is rather small. Love it! The necklace came with a box, a paper bag and a small pouch. =)

Windows live beta is so cool. Very pretty interface. I changed all the language in japanese, now every word appears in jap. =)

Its not easy juggling FYP, schoolwork, work, relationship and other curriculum at one time. I'm exhausted. I seriously need a break.

IF~ I can turn back time, I want to return to my primary school days. I want to relive those stress-free days, when I don't have to study to pass exams, when I excel in sports, when teachers and classmates adores me, when my metabolism was super high and I don't have to worry getting fat. I miss my primary schoolmates and teachers. I miss my gang of friends. I miss the maths room and maths corner where me and my gang usually hang out during assembly. I miss those childish games I used to play. I wish I could turn back time.


IF~ I can turn back time, I want to return to my secondary school days. I want to relive those fun and rebellious days. I don't mind mugging hard for exams and tests, getting scoldings from teachers, doing piles of homeworks and going for tuitions all over again. I miss my secondary classmates and teachers. I miss long chats and gossips at the back of the class. I miss teasing the teachers. I miss shopping after lessons. I miss punishment outside the class. I miss those stupid things I used to do. I even miss girl guides. I wish I could turn back time.


IF~ I can turn back time, I want to return to poly year one. I want to relive those not-so-stress days. I want to go back to the skating days. I want to redo all my tests and exams. I want to go back to the days when dabian had all the time for me and I had all my time for him. I miss going to SP watching dabian do his project. I miss taking public transport home with dabian. I miss going out on weekends. I miss having self declared holidays. I miss not having to worry for deadlines. I wish I could turn back time.

I miss wearing uniform. =(


Totally look forward to the end of FYP.

Neko is going for a jaw surgery next wednesday. So sad and worried for her. =(

Finally passed my Basic Theory. =)


Was super late for the test. It took me more than 1.5hours to travel from TLL to Yio Chu Kang despite Dabian speed driving me there from marsiling. I hate the crowded public transport!

Suddenly so many journals to read through. =(

Suddenly so many assignments to do. Sigh. I'm exhausted.

Eling and Soo Cheng's supervisor made us do OT. We were supposed to end at 6pm, Dr Cai Yu made us separate 6 tubes of ovarioles at 5.30pm. Siao! How to finish within half an hour?!! We did the job as fast as possible and left the place at 7pm. When I reached NP, it was already 7.35pm, I was supposed to meet Dabian at NP around 6 plus. Because of the stupid ovarioles, dabian had to wait for me for over an hour in his uniform and inside a hot and stuffy car. Poor dabian. =(

I hate many of my colleagues.
Sometimes I say or do things to attract attention.
I like scratching my blackheads.
I eat alot.
I don't like drinking water.
I usually bath for half an hour.
I need 2 alarm clocks to wake me up.

Dad brought us to bottle tree park (along khatib MRT track) near my house after dinner. Very pretty place. It was a half restuarant half fishing pond kinda place. The restuarant was fully packed when we were there, this shows how popular that place is. The carpark was full too. There were many people fishing for prawns at the pond area. Someone caught a prawn bigger than my feet. =/

Bottle trees were planted along the entrance. Gorgeous trees, they look exactly like bottles. Shall visit the place in the morning oneday and take loads of photos. =)

Feeling kinda depress cos many of my friends are having their holidays now. =(

We visited TLL's animal house today. There are mices, rats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and a PIG! That pig was the largest I've ever seen. Its even longer then my study desk (bigger than me) and it closes his room's door when its open and when we try to open it. There is a abnormally huge rabbit, I think it can easily hide my laptop by sitting on it. The rabbit has double chin. =X


The animal was probably the only fun part today. Spent the rest of the time slacking, picking out puapa and watching the baby flies hatch out from the puapa. When will we be able to start our project proper?
